JS version: Same behavior on my Quad Core ATI XP machine as my Quad Core NVidia Win 7 Pro machine: 0.3 fps and soundbuffer stuttering. Both latest Chrome.

Photon what GPU exactly? To get a decent fps use geforce 760 gtx or better. Otherwise just watch it on youtube.

awesome ideas, nice execution!! Felt a BIT like a 4k on crack tho, mainly in the way that it feels a bit "same material for everything," but it still works. Keep it up!!

ferris, yeah sorry. Me and Juzey made the music from a previous track Juzey made last summer in a day by paulstretching it and adding mixing in it. We have never done any music for demos. I think the music process took two days so it was kind of a quickie.

Normally noby would've made the track and directed the demo but this time it was not the case. Anyway he was already busy with the Epoch demo.

I'm not absolutely sure what current GPU hardware runs this at full speed but +30fps is totally possible on GeForce 760 gtx or better. Final version will fix some problems.

I only have a reeeaally old PC(GeForce 8800, thanks to cce for giving me the GPU) because I'm a poor student so this was kind of a pain to work within a tiny window to get any decent speed.

ps. everybody come to payback dammit.

Gets better and better... letterboxing makes everything better ;). Great sound work! Paulstretch as fuck, but good results anyway which is what matters. Sadly it needs a load of gamma correction, I can't make almost anything. Also the reflections seem a bit noisy, looks like a rendering bug at times. Obvious thumb direction though.

Excellent atmosphere. The darkness with high contrast backlighting really makes the mood here. Music suits the scene well. Minimal but well executed.

Getting better. Had to watch youtube version though. Maybe a tad too dark.

Don't work on any of the 6 browsers I have installed on my PC...

Only black screen with music on 4 (IE11, Operas 24, Chrome 64 v37, Chromium 64 V40), and black screen + horizontal gray strip with music on the other 2 (WaterFox and Firefox 32.0.3).

ASRock Z68 Extreme4
Intel 2500K
GTX 660, 335.23 drivers
Java 7U67
Win 7 Ultimate SP1 64bit
Aero disabled

Ok, FINALLY found the way to make it work.

Must rename the demo folder to "demo" and use this command line from the folder containing the folder "demo". Can also create a .bat batch file if your want:

start chrome.exe --args --allow-file-access-from-files %~dp0\demo\index.htm

Work with glitches on Chrome v37, but work ok on Chromium v40. A .bat batch file should have been included to avoid this mess...

Other than that, ok but not a great demo. No real music to speak off, more like ambient sounds and noises you typically found in 1KB demos. Nothing really coherent either; no story, no message. Short at under 2 min. Could probably have been done in less than 64K by talented programmers instead of nearly 2MB. I liked the heavy, dark atmosphere. Overall, forgettable and unimpressive.

Can't get more running than music with a black screen (Chrome, Win7, 64bit). I like the video very much! Trippy stuff, and yes, maybe a little too dark ;)
