This is my little remote contribution to a great Amiga demoparty. I hope you'll enjoy it. Although it's OCS and can run on A500 (either 512K/512K or 1Mb chip) it will benefit of anything better than a 7MHz 68000 if your Amiga got something more powerful. I enjoyed creating this little thing. Expect more (and better) OCS/ECS stuff in the future! :]

Ok. A bit strange, with Peter Gunn themed tune, but ok :)

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. I'll write a few things about this small intro.
Yes, this was a very modest experiment and certainly there is room for improvement. Most things were done in a week or so. The music was one of my old unreleased MODs and is quite inspired on Peter Gunn (not exactly the same, you could say that is a variation on the theme). The grotesque faces in the background were done using the copper and they use a bitplane for masking each 4 pixels. I think they look better on a CRT monitor though. The 3D routine is pure CPU and works in planar (writing in chunks of at least 8 pixels). By the way, I used octahedra instead of the typical hexahedrons because the figures whose vertices have four connected neighbors (instead of three) allow for a color mapping with only two colors. That is, writing on one bitplane for each color is enough for displaying a glenz vector if the object follow this rule and the color palette is well tuned.
I'll try to visit next Capacitor party instead of just contribute remotely.

Nice progression on the a500 skills. Perhaps time to summon the blitter to get some hw support for that 3d.

I really want to like this, but it's so unbelievably slow, I can't.
