Nice! Even that one brick isn't pushed down all the way. :D When I saw this I thought "This has to be yx but the group isn't...", but then here on Pouet yx uploaded it, so... :)

it has all the right elements (blocks?). very lovely design from Brick Astley / JML, hopefully they'll take this as the next toy idea in Billund! :)

The 1x1 slope has a small groove on the bottom side, which is probably why it looks like it isn't pressed down all the way, while it actually is.

(It's probably what's used as part of the sea under the front of the färjan, but I can't see much of it, it's basically an educated guess.)

(Yes, I'm also a huge LEGO nerd.)

porocyon is correct, the wedge pieces have a slight groove at the bottom, and the blue piece on the front edge is indeed one of those. It's less obvious in this render, but the white 1x2 'jumper plate' also has this underside groove.

I've seen a lot of previous Lego-based prods that didn't pay close attention to factors like this, in most cases not even having rounded edges on the bricks, and was keen to achieve more realism in my work.
