White text on a white background. 1) press Ctrl C 2) type reset and press return Sound sayhi sends the Bell ASCII character to activate the beeper. On systems with a graphical desktop, a selected system sound is played, depending on the configuration. Depending on your configuration, you will hear one of the notification sounds or the plain beeper. On many systems, these notification sounds are disabled by default.
