║ 1. Software fullscreen support
║
║ On most machines you will be able to run the invitation intro
║ in fullscreen mode. This is usually quitte a lot faster. You
║ can switch to fullscreenmode and back by pressing ALT-ENTER.
║ The 3dfx version always runs fullscreen.
║
║ Another option is to reduce the windowsize, if your windows setup
║ is slow at blitting to the screen this can make things a lot faster.
║ (Note that the intro itself will still render to the full windowsize,
║ so this won't speed things up much if the bottleneck is not the final
║ blit.)

║ 2. Command line options
║
║ If you have any trouble running the invitation intro you could try one
║ of the following commandline options:
║
║ asm98inv no3dfx
║ This will disable the 3dfx support, and the intro will
║ always run in software.
║
║ asm98inv nosound
║ This will disable the music replay.
