└────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘

        This file contains informations on how to run this intro, and other
 less important subjects. So if you have any problem to make 'Revenge'
 perfectly work on your computer (I hope this won't be the case !), refer to
 the next paragraph to find the solution.

┌────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│ 2.                            REQUIREMENTS                                 │
└────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘

        Because of the continuous raising of computers' power, particularly
 in the world of demos, you can't expect this intro (and other recent ones !)
 to run in good conditions on a slow machine. To appreciate it fully, you
 need more precisely :

 - at least an i486DX processor; a 486DX2 is recommended.
 - a local bus VGA graphic card.
 - a numeric coprocessor (no problem if you've got a 486DX or better).
 - approximately 550-570 Ko of low memory; I don't actually know the exact
   size, but a test at the beginning of the program will tell you to try a
   'cleaner' boot if there is not enough place.

 - it's possible to run this intro with or without any memory manager, such
   as EMM386; but don't forget that those programs slow your machine down.
   So if you don't really need them, get rid of them.
 - a sound card is not necessary to run 'Revenge', but strongly recommended !
   At the present time, only GUS is supported, but a version including SB will
   soon be available (in fact, it's already finished, but I'm not happy with
   the sound's quality. Be patient !).
   The card is detected thanks to the ULTRASND (BLASTER for SB) environment
   variable; if it is not present in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file, it won't be
   found ! (as a consequence, there won't be any sound).

        'Revenge' has been successfully tested on two 486DX2-66 with SB and
   a Pentium 90 with GUS max; notice though that you try it at your own risk,
   and that we are not responsible for any damage which could happen.

        We're fed up with all those demos where it's impossible to skip one
 part when it bores without going back to DOS or even sometimes re-booting
 the computer. So, you can press ENTER whenever you want to jump to the next
 part (but don't use it the first time : the whole intro is only a bit more
 than five minutes long !), or ESC to quit.

└────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘

        'Real Time' is a young group (with old guys though, 22-23 years old !)
 with only two coders, and a musician for this last production (but we're
 happy with that, don't change anything !). So, our 'pieces of art' are not
 very numerous :

 * Way To Finland (Demo - 1 812 Ko - 08/94) : made for ASM'94. SB only.
                   recommended: 386DX40 or better. lasts 12'.

 * Delay_Pt (4 Ko intro - 3 655 bytes - 08/94) : poor contribution from Mythos
             to the 4Ko ASM'94 compo (in fact a modified part of Way To F.)

 * Mountain (4 Ko intro - 2 915 bytes - 08/94) : Scarfman's contribution to
             the same compo. Great, but doesn't work with all cards (get an
             ET4000 !). NB: These two 4Ko intros are released with Way To F.

 * Revenge (64 Ko intro - 12/94) : our contribution to The Party 4.
            You haven't tried it yet ?!? What are you waiting for ?

        If you are reading this file (sure you are !), you've already got
 'Revenge'; you can find 'Way To Finland' on DP-TOOL Club's CD ASC 18 (French
 people will understand what I mean), or by calling :

                       +33-1-4588-8809

        I've heard that our demo is available on others BBS I don't exactly
 know; if you are one of them, or if you want to become one of them, don't
 hesitate : contact us (see the last paragraph of this file), and we'll be
 happy to send you the last versions of our programs.

└────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘

        Our greetings go to (in alphabetical order) :

 * CASCADA
 * DUST (we love your productions; by why not always in full-screen ?!)
 * EMF
 * FUTURE CREW (no more demos ? :-( soon, we hope)
 * IGUANA (we agree with you about PC competitions at ASM94; we were quite
           disappointed by the way the show went off.
           By the way : I think the organizers of every party should give a
           list of the pieces chosen after the 'selection', in the 'future'
           order of appearance; this would allow unhappy people to ask
           questions before the show and not after -that is to say too late-,
           and help everybody to vote)
 * PRIME
 * TRAN
 * TRITON

└────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘

        First of all, we want to thank TOF for the great job he did : such a
 good music with so awful samples (because of size requirements), we can't
 believe our ears !

        We also want to say hullo ('coucou' in French) to :

 - our sisters and brothers.
 - The 'Père Denis', his girlfriend Véro (and Nathalie too).
 - Seb, Karine, the 'Père Moulun', Samy, P.A., Bob, and ... the others !
 - Oh putain l'Gli !
 - Rachel, Reb, Morgan, and all pretty girls who help Real Time a lot by
   letting the two coders alone in front of their computers; we know it's
   hard for you, but it's hard for us too ! (joke)
