Running time: 7:30 plus loadings (about 25 secs on p200MMX)

Supports: VESA, SoundBlaster (1, 2, pro, 16)

Parameters:

-d nn select color depth manually (nn=8,15,16,24 or 32)
-s configure audio manually
-n no sounds at all (doesn't even try to detect the hardware)

e.g.: TACITUS.EXE -d 16 -s

Note that the demo tries to detect color depths in this order:

32bpp -> 16bpp -> 15bpp -> 24bpp -> 8bpp

So if it cannot find a mode for 32bpp, it tries to find a mode
for 16bpp. The reason for why 24bpp is not after 32bpp, is
becouse of some video adapters handles 24bpp modes strangely and
the image will get messed up. If you still want to try it rather
than 16bpp, you can use the '-d' parameter.

I'm working on that problem and finding a way to fix it.

Thanks to Ansgaros aka Anssi Jääskeläinen, who made
the great guitar samples for the music.

This demo does NOT use MIDAS, Allegro or any other libs or code
made by people outside PuavoHard. It uses PHLIB for graphics,
audio and timing, which was made by BuG.

We couldn't get our 3D-engine work as well as we thought, but still this IS
about 100 times better than our last-year-demo 'the MESSAGE' which really
sucked (but it was shown on big screen though)... It's clear that this is our
best demo so far. BUT next year we'll make even better demo...probably :).

ALL code, graphics and music are originals, NO COPY, NO RIP! some textures
are ripped from various sources, but some are made by Larga 'n BuG.

PuavoHard info:
Group was found in 1996 by Larga. Original members were Lauri Ainala, Olli
Ainala and Anssi Jääskeläinen (Ansgaros). Nowadays our group is member of
Alliance of Finnish gamedevelopers and makes games, demos, musix and graphics.
Group members live mostly in Savonlinna, only BuG and TheTumi are living in
other city (BuG in Mikkeli and TheTumi in Jyväskylä).
