[ Overview ] "CDTV is 35" is a musicdisc demo especially designed for the Commodore Amiga CDTV and as such its most distinctive feature is the use of Compact Disc music. [ System requirements ] A minimum of a PAL Commodore Amiga CDTV or A500 / A500+ with A570: - Motorola 68000 cpu - OCS chipset - 1 MB of memory - Kickstart 1.3, CDTV OS 1.0 In theory the demo might also run on CD32 and on any CD-ROM based Amiga given that the CD file system supports emulation of CDTV / CD32. Best experienced with the CDTV connected to a Hi-Fi / audio speakers. [ How to run ] - Unpack the archive - Software emulator (eg WinUAE): mount the .cue file as a CD image - Real hardware: burn the .cue file to a physical CD-R disc, boot your system from that CD Tip: Imgburn for Windows XP works well, remember to burn the disc at a very low speed, the CDTV is 1x. [ Mouse controls ] The demo runs in autoplay mode and can be operated via the wireless infrared remote controller - press the B button to play the next track - press the A button to exit or a mouse - press the right mouse button to play the next track - press the left mouse button to exit [ Background information ] The demo is a tribute to the Compact Disc technology and its integration into the Amiga line of computers. The authors intended to revive the vibes of the late 80s / early 90s. Last but not least, many thanks to C= director Gail Wellington (RIP), mother of CDTV.
