SCENE WORLD #36 COVER TAPE This is the first time Scene World has done a cover tape. The idea was suggested by Nafcom. The main purpose for it was to mark it as a 25th anniversary production for Scene World. The contents on this tape are as follows: SIDE 1 - 3 Full Games Let's Invade 3 A fun space invaders game by TND, which was originally made as part of the Scene World game coding feature Let's Make a C64 Game. Dantalion A flip screen platform arcade adventure by Eleanor Burns, created using the Shoot Em Up Construction Kit, complete with hard coded enhancements by Eleanor herself. The game is split into two parts. Part 1 is the main game. Part 2 is the ending. In order to see the ending, you must get the password from completing the game. Switch off your C64 and then load in part 2 from the tape. Duo Tanx An exclusive 2 player arena tank battle party game for 2 players only. SIDE 2 1 Full music demo Mix Tape #1 A complete collection of selected music featured in issues 1 to 25 of Scene World. Loading instructions: Standard C64 (Physical tape) Rewind tape to correct position. Press SHIFT+RUN/STOP and then press PLAY on tape. The programs should then load and run. C64 with 1541Ultimate with tape adapter / Ultimate 64 / C64 Ultimate: Go to the Ultimate64 directory on the cover tape. Select the .TAP icon, and then a menu will pop up. Select the option Enter Index, select the program filename and select "RUN" option press RETURN. The machine will reboot and start loading the main program. TheC64 / theC64 Mini: Press the A menu button on your joystick (or press the reset button on theC64 full size computer), go to Media Browser (USB) select the folder theC64 in the cover tape menu and then select the file you wish to load and then press the B menu button to launch it. The program will then load and run from tape. For full instructions for each of these productions, please read the cover tape feature in Scene World Issue 36.
