Paradise by Dune
So here it is, after a 5 years delay, the "Paradise demo" finally reaches your screen. First of all, some technical aspects: all code, audio and visuals from this demo were not touched up since their first creation, so don't be too disappointed by the crap aspect of some graphics or effects (or by the out of date greetings!)... This demo should run on all STs and also on Falcon though some bugs are still present... Since this is an old and unfinished demo, all the addresses and phone numbers mentioned there are closed or non active! The reason of such a delayed release is basically that we (i mean the Dune members) felt that we would never finish this demo, so what about letting you enjoy this never finished show? Furthermore it seems that there's a current trend for a ST revival, so here is our modest contribution to this back to roots movement! However, it may be possible for us to produce some new demos. Indeed, considering the fact that many new ST demos are on the road, some members of Dune would be pleased to release some new products. Most Dune freaks are now retired demo coders (most of them working, as well in game companies as in other professional activities), but we still have lotsa unreleased graphics and code to use. So here is our final message : if you still are an active demo freak, just contact us to give us feedback about this demo, our (possible but not sure) ST projects or to get graphics or routs from us for YOUR projects. Anyway, letters or production from all ST freaks still alive around will be warmly welcomed (and possibly answered)!
