- What's this fu**in' new -O-MaTiC tool and do I need it ???
Hijaho! Yeps, it's true, another tool from the -O-MaTiC series (some guys
don't like the name -O-MaTiC, BUT I DO !). This time it's RiP-O-MaTiC, a
tool TO rip crunched data files from disk or file. Supported crunchers are
at the moment: Stone Cracker (S404), Team 17 Packer (ATN!), Rob Northen
Packer (RNC), Imploder, CrunchMania Data File (CRM), XPK Data File (XPKF)
and SOON to come a deep-search mode FOR PowerPacker data files (No size
calculation possible at ALL AND file may not be longer than expected!). If
you want me to add a new cruncher then do not hesitate to contact me
(e-male...uups.. e-mail preferred!). If you want to decrunch e.g. the RNC
file you've just been ripping then why not use xfdDecrunch by Georg H÷rmann
(he implemented my RNC and ATN! decrunch routines!). The xfd package should
be available at every pd-bbs or just contact Georg or me.
(because xfd RULEZ!, and Pentium DOESN'T!)
- Why did I have to wait for so long?
Actually this project was already finished with just some bugs appr. 1 year
ago, but as I was to lazy to fix them and to release it,. That's all guys!
- How does this program work ?
No big explanations, just run the file (via cli/wb) and follow the
instructions (I know this can be VERY hard!?!). There's nuttin more to tell.
- How to contact the author
Puuh... That's a really hard question.... hmmm... let me think.... ah yes:
Addresses are shown at the beginning of the tool, so just run it...
Puuuuuh... Good that issue is done now... Huuuh! That was really not easy!
- Future Implementations
Well, I hate this subject, but anyway to be implemented is:
. FIRE cruncher (also decrunchable by xfdDecrunch!)
. PowerPacker data deep search (we'll see how good it works)
. Autosave mode (Makes ripping more files more comfortable (clicking 500
times IS lame!)
. Prefix addition for files (e.g. "Disk1." or "Elfmania." (RNC Rulez!)
. Probably some more packers (we'll see, I'll talk to Georg!)
. Almost EVERYTHING YOU WANT (Hey, I coded this 4 YOU, so don't call this
program lame; if it doesn't fit for your needs, just contact me!)
. Fixing the Enforcer Hits... hmmm... noooo! (There are none, i hope!)
. Ripping from memory, for sure in the next version (coming REALLY soon!)
Next update WILL be out very soon. e-mail me if you need this tool so i
will speed up my work... It's in YOUR hands!
