how: - This demo was fixed to run on a machine like the
competition PC used at the Wired 95:
i486DX2/66,8MB,GUS,ET4000W32p (VLB)
It was tested with exact the same configuration and it
runs in satisfactory speed with it.
- The code was developed on:
Cyrix486DLC40,4MB,GUS,ET4000 (ISA)
i486DX2/66,8MB,GUS Max,ET4000 (ISA)
- EIDE-drives requiring drivers like Ontrack are known to cause
problems
- HD caches are known to cause problems
- We recommend a clean boot w/out EMM, although it works
with it.
- SB sucks, get a life - get a GUS.
why: About three weeks before the Wired 95 Hoodoo and HSMF
discovered that they had some unused routines of good
quality lying on their HDs. They decided to fix together
a coder-demo featuring more good code with lots of
different routines and less design, just unlike other
crews. The Rd-d and Faun joined forces with them in
order to add rudimentary artistic elements to the code.
