iLLUSiON PC presents to you:
- The Third Eye Demo -
Hardware needed:
- p166 with FPU (demo will run on slower machines(maybe 486DX??),
but special pentium-dependent optimizations are
supplied in code...);
- PCI svga 1MB (your gfx-card must support following vesa 2.0 modes
with LFB: 320x200x256 and 320x200x65536 (if you have
no vesa 2.0 bios, use scitech univbe 6.0a);
if you wanna see all LFB modes demo can detect try
this on dos command line:
'3rd-eye.exe v >text'
or '3rd-eye.exe l >text'
- all available modes will be listed to file 'text');
- all supported soundcards all listed in first midas menu;
if you have sb try not to use too high sample-rate
and stereo, because demo will slow down a lot...
- ~500KB of base mem + ~5MB of extended mem...
Software needed:
- pure dos+himem.sys (demo will run in win95 dos-box, but screen
synchronization may be fucked...);
- ULTRASND or BLASTER environment set(or set it manually in midas
menu...);
- existence of EMM386.EXE is not recommended...
