HaRDCoDE's Music Disk
---------------------

the horrid music disk, a shovel in the dirt of the shitty past!
 -- Air Richter

HaRDCoDE is dead -- (or maybe just in a very deep coma). :) We
decided to release this MD, because it was one old segment of our
lives that we wanted to get out of the way (and because NightStrike
wouldn't leave us the fuck alone).

We apologize to everyone for this project being delayed for such a
long time. There were legitimate reasons as to why the MD didn't
ship.

To the artists....We wish to thank you for your contributions...even
if they do come from a time of more than a year ago and when your music
really sucked. ;) You were the only group of people to actually turn
in your work on time, and we thank you for your support. We love all
of you. *wReam HUG*

This music disk was envisioned during a time that we would like to
forget... In keeping with that notion, this music disk is dedicated
to Meredith. May she be forgotten, as well.

Only a few weeks of coding effort went into this project, but as
promised, there is a back door.

May the scene continue to survive, and the gospel of Linux, Emacs, and
MikMod continue to spread... Greets fly out to all of our friends. U
know who u are.

Hopefully, all the songs contained in the MD are unreleased and
supposed to be there. Most all the songs have been gathering dust for
the past few years, and it's difficult to realize what songs have been
released, since we're sure people have grown tired of waiting on the
the music disk.

BTW, SVGA requires approximately 3 megs available to run. VGA
requires approximately 2 megs. GUS people should have a meg of DRAM
on their cards in order for Axis and Undetermined Feeling to play
correctly. If you don't have a meg of DRAM, you must set GUS_512k
equal to Enabled. On slow machines with an SB16, it's possible that
the music will slow down while pics are being loaded.

We'll leave you with a nifty piece of Coke history...

Here is the fact of the week, maybe even the fact of the
month. According to probably reliable sources, the Coca-Cola people
are experiencing severe marketing anxiety in China.
The words "Coca-Cola" translate into Chinese as either
(depending on the inflection) "wax-fattened mare" or "bite the wax
tadpole".
        Bite the wax tadpole.
There is a sort of rough justice, is there not?
The trouble with this fact, as lovely as it is, is that it's
hard to get a whole column out of it. I'd like to teach the world to
bite a wax tadpole. Coke -- it's the real wax-fattened mare. Not bad,
but broad satiric vistas do not open up.
-- John Carrol, San Francisco Chronicle

Cute, eh?-)

Always the real thing. Always Coca-Cola.
