So just what is WACKED, anyway?

WACKED is a group of the finest PC-Demo programmers and producers in the
entire Wor.Coun.Sta. Area. It will soon be the best in the state. In
fact, I believe it already is the ONLY one in the state. If you happen to
live in Utah as well as program Demos for the PC AND think you can do
better than we can, then get a hold of us and we'll let you write them
instead.

And what does WACKED stand for?

Life, Liberty, and.. uh.. Neato demos from the state of Utah. (Or, rather,
the persuit thereof.)

Greetings :
    Bass Man
Future Crew (Wait a minute.. These guys get greeted in EVERY demo file.
Sure, they make great demos, but I've never met a single
one of them. Not only that, they have been entirely
closed-minded about sharing a little bit of the spot-light
and think of themselves as the only entities in the Demo
scene that can think of anything new. Better yet, how come
they seem to be the only ones who can do it exceptionally
well on a regular basis??) (They also don't reply to any
letters that you send, even if you include disks!)
Renaissance (Or, rather, what used to be Renaissance. What happened,
guys? You were the only prominent group from the US in it
JUST for the creativity that I had ever heard of. Why go
off the deep end and get rid of all the people that made the
                  whole deal fly??)
Everyone else who writes demos on the PC.

Wanted :
Code to convince a standard VGA card to go into 640x400x256 mode.
(And why not? It can handle the resolution, it's got 256k of ram, and
it's also go a 256 color mode. Why not actually use all the available
    resources at the same time?)

Anyone who lives in Utah and is a decent graphic or musical artist.

(Ok, so having the suggested system won't really make any difference in
how the demo looks. It would still be nice!)
