El Gore - final Party: Revision 2022 Compo: Combined 8k/64k Visuals: LJ Music: Virgill Support: Gopher Uhh so someone *cough* asked for additional entries in the 8k compo, virgill quickly threw together this soundtrack, sadly it left me rather uninspired. After a long half day of sifting through my stash of shaders I came back empty handed and figured I'd just build something froms scratch, so the day before the compo I sat down and coded an IFS that turned out to look like half eaten chicken wings, a mix of meat and bones. While attempting to flesh it out (small pun) it turned out that the IFS was too dirty to properly shade(and animate) it so it had to go... what remained was the theme, so I set down to shade my meat. The "deadline" (aka compo) relentlessly approached so everything after the scene where the spike grows out of the vesicle was thrown together in 30 minutes... so I hope you like cubes floating in bile or whatever it is. I'm not really into the whole gory thing so I bet there's a lot of unrealized potential to be uncovered still, but I guess for a first try this doesn't do too bad, and somehow I'm intruiged to do build upon this with a more eerie / creepy angle ... we'll see.
