Compo version will show a black screen for 30 secs, then present the image.

Also included is a progressive render version.

This prod uses Warpath, my tiny little compo pathtracer, and was built with
our private 4k authoring tool 4kampfpanzerin. Crinkler 2.3 provides the
   crunchies.

Most geometry is based on 2D SDFs, extruded into 3D space. SEKRET SAUCE:
For certain things in the scene, Felzenszwalb & Huttenlocher is performed
on the CPU, and a 2D distance map transferred to the GPU.

Note: On Windows 11 only, if system Display Scaling is not set to 100% (on
my laptop it defaults to 125%), only a zoomed in portion of the screen is
displayed. Please ensure your scaling is set to 100%.

   An Apology

I'm going to keep this as concise as possible. A few years ago, I did a
security audit for the CLOAK cryptocurrency. I got along well with the
team, and as two of the team were based in Germany we decided we'd meet
   up at Revision 2016.

Unexpectedly, the team leader (cashmen) brought along a bunch of envelopes
containing CLOAK paper wallets, to be donated to the Revision prize pool.

Some time later, with crypto markets heating up, winners who had received
CLOAK wallets tried to access the funds on their paper wallets.

Unbeknown to me, cashmen had kept the private keys for all these paper
wallets, and swept the funds a few weeks after the party :( If a winner
had not already transferred their funds, they were lost to cashmen.

I was made aware of the issue with the paper wallets on a Pouet thread,
and rapidly ascertained what had happened. It was easy to find the
on-chain transactions where the wallets had been swept to a new address.

I added up the value of the missing CLOAK at the spot price on the day I
found out about the sweep, and worked it out as approximately €10,000.

At the time the prizes were actually awarded in 2016, the value was much
lower, but as I was involved in a new crypto project by the time the
sweep was uncovered, I thought that I could reimburse all winners with
coins of equivalent value to €10K.

I rashly promised in the Pouet thread to do just that. Immediately after
this, the project I was involved in lost all value and I had no way of
   honouring my promise.

My reaction was poor; I pretty much ran away.

I Alt-F4'd the scene, didn't make any more releases, didn't go to any
parties. I felt very bad but didn't know how I could fix it.

I approached the CLOAK team; they claimed no knowledge of what had
happened. cashmen was no longer part of the project, and they would not
provide contact details for him. Despite being presented with all evidence,
they were not interested in reimbursing funds.

Some time after this, CLOAK was delisted from Binance -- my only victory.

Last year, to support the Nova party, I released a remote exegfx entry that
I'd had kicking around on my hard drive.

Understandly, I got a certain amount of push-back by releasing after having
vanished off the face of the scene for years.

I still don't how to fix it, but I miss my friends, I miss creating stuff,
   I really miss parties.

All I have to say is that I'm sorry.
