Javascript xm player

So, this is quite cool

My immediate thoughts are that this could really help sites like scenemusic.net, if they can push the xm file (or mod etc going forward) to a local javascript player. Much smaller transfers and potentially (in the future) a more authentic experience

Uh, you've not looked at their streamer, have you? It uses BASS and appropriate tools on the backend to be able to playback tracker files properly and push the results down to listeners. You should really try reading their FAQ sometime.
Also, The Mod Archive has had an HTML5-based client-side module player since September of this year.
In short, everyone else has already figured this out. Welcome to the party. ;)

There's also https://github.com/martincameron/micromod/ which, incidentally, isn't 500k compressed :D
...and plays less formats. :P
(coming up next: native MO3 support, even in the emscripten version)

What do you mean? There aren't other formats than MOD and XM.
