Brokepoint - Breakpoint 2009 is in danger and needs YOUR support

category: general [glöplog]
Even better than recommendations are actual contacts, IOW tell us about it after you've asked the band if they'd be interested in playing for free at Easter. And don't even suggest any band that would have to fly in from outside germany with equipment, that's unrealistic from a financial standpoint anyway.

kb_ i kinda assumed it would be band related expenses.. Aren't there any (good) bands around consisting of sceners who could support the party?

I reckon Trace^XPLSV could do a kickass liveset... plus maybe glxbit on the ones and twos.

Give me back Romeo Knight / Xerxes / Bendik (Optional), and Reyn.
Alternatively, put Reyn on drums for Romeo Knight / Xerxes and let him play a solo show too, like last year :)

i think BASS should be back and kick sum ass. at least i know personally i would love that :)

rp liveset.

or, alternatively...

kb on the piano, lb on the drum toy sticks, and loaderror on the guitar (using, somehow, his 4k synth).

that would be a great show.

the idea of loaderror on guitars is just awesome, it'll probably stay in my head all evening :D

Too bad loady's synth needs reassembling after each modification to the note-data :(

nina & lug00ber: fair enough, I don't know the details of the Solskogen organizing =) imho it doesn't matter too much - I don't care if I have to pay 150 or 100 (or 200 or) to get into Solskogen, and if I knew that Solskogen couldn't afford to give me a free entry, then I wouldn't accept it anyway.

you could raise the beer price - the more you booze, the more you support the party then :)

raising the beer price would just result in drunkards hitting the streets looking for a supermarket to get it cheap
What about a jam session?
Anyone who wants to play does it, and we can have music for the whole night/day/event.

I mean, just wait till jeenio's drunk enough and put him on stage with a few other drunk guys. In the next morning they won't even know what happened.

please no jam sessions or other badly rehearsed crap :(((

IMHO an open jam session has too high chance of displeasing the crowd. Of course, you can always boo people out, but they have to respect it then.

Actually, it could be fun.
