Thanks to all of you for your releases, talks, social stuff etc. It's always a good feeling so see that all the time spend was worth it.
As a lot of people were having fun with the avatars the last days. I decided to published the patch on cables. It was a joined effort by chunna, steam and me. Inspect the patch and have fun with it!

See you soon. Either online or in person.

Code: 12:18 ɧ4ɾɗվ./Lemon. Let´s not talk copyright, mmmkay?!! I told the Novoque-Orgas to let that installer run for as long as the Chromagic music takes to wrap, 2:34 or sth, same time the text wraps btw, including Demoscene-Greetings, and NOT to click the INSTALL-button...none of which happened! :( It´s Illegal! ;) Roots!

Yes, i am still sour, because of all of this!
This was my Main-Release for this party!
I invested a lot of time to come up with something special for this special "party" :P
And i told you the above in the "extra designated area for messages to the organizers in the submit-form" :P
And you just did not listen and made it look the worst it could...that grey background, the big border of grey, i mean: wtf? what is so hard about switching to 1920p, get a black desktop and capture it as good as possible?
Why did you cut it that early?
The Demoscene-Greetings-pages just would have popped up next!
The Music wasn´t played until the end, which it would have had deserved for sure...it´s made by Chromag, one of our all-time-best-sceners-of-all-time! (There was that chippy part coming up, when you decided to stop it already, wtf?!!)
I don´t get it!

My other prod (4K) was a fast-shot, the musician didn´t deliver, as i had asked too late anyway...
so i didn´t put in any effort into making it any better, after having had to come up with own music, which was a testing-track of mine from 2009 (when 4klang was still in beta!).
I didn´t think of it to place any higher than last place!
It ending up on 4th, although Twitch was making a super-mess out of it, made me wonder a lot!

But my Main-Prod being shown like that wasn´t Twitch´s Fault, but all yours! :(
I am still sour! :/

Anyone saying like "Want some wine next to your wine" or alike down below, didn´t read carefully enuff! :P

P.S.: Sorry for no positive words at all, too sour still! :P
1080p*
"drinks?"
"ill have a hardy-sour, please"

As an oldskool compo orga who's handled an unhealthy number of "scroller + music + bouncing logo" demos, my rule of thumb is that one minute is the threshold where people start slow-clapping and shouting SCHEISSE at the screen, and you seriously have to consider cutting it short before that point. If the visuals are decent - as your demo definitely is - then you can get away with showing it for a bit longer, and personally if I'd been showing it I'd probably have let it run for another 30 seconds or so - but 2:30 is way too long to show a single-screener.

I don't really understand the objection about the screen resolution. The Novoque compo rules said "If you want your demo to be shown in full size you have to make sure it runs in 1920x1080 resolution." - if you chose to disregard that advice and present your demo windowed, then you pretty much have to accept whatever background the person recording it chose. It's not the compo orga's job to art-direct the presentation of your demo.

It got shown for 1:59, so your additional 30secs plus another 5secs would have made it 2:34, exactly how long it is until it wraps.
FWIW, as a viewer I think it was shown for too long. Nobody reads scrollers especialy on a compressed twitch stream!
there´s no scroller in this prod! ;)
ascii/ansi was shown horribly fast, so go away with your 30 seconds to snickers and mars, hardy :D :) :) :)
