The 16th annual Demosplash is coming up in a little over two weeks, Saturday November 21 in the Cohon University Center at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA USA. This year we'll be featuring talks about console demos, Atari 2600 demo development, and the ZX Spectrum demoscene. As always, we'll be having a full slate of compos, screenings of new and classic demos on as much original hardware as we can bring, and for those attending in person our retro game room.
If you're interested in entering one (or more) of our compos, you can view all the categories and rules here and submit your entry to our compo management system, which is open now. If you're not able to come to Pittsburgh to attend in person fear not. Our friends at SceneSat will be livestreaming the entire party, you can participate live via Discord or the #demosplash IRC channel on irc.libera.chat, and you can vote on your favorite compo entries with your SceneID account.
