category: parties [glöplog]
truck: file managers, picture viewers, mp3 players, and download managers are kinda taboo in Conspiracy - we tend to have hour long complaints if someone's pc doesnt have the "required" software installed :) (mostly me complaining about BoyC using FAR)

I seem to remember something like that conversation coming up once, about some FAR thing... and BoyC. Wonder how that happened...

I might want to note that you can pretty much solve the travel to Budapest from Amsterdam in roughly 100 euros. :)

Is that including taxes?

The cheapest flight I could find was 156.60

Well shit, gonna miss out on Function again. New job starts next week, can't afford to piss them off too soon.

sparcus: ah.. shit :/ true that :/ I thought skyeurope includes taxcosts on the first page :(

Amsterdam is the other side of the country for me :/ However, Easyjet Dortmund-Budapest is only 116 euro at the moment... Tempting, but sadly that flight leaves far too early for me to make it.

well, you could be late a little, then? :)

Hmm, hmm...
The nighttrain from Munich to Wien / Budapest seems to be very cheap. And there's a car trip from Dresden to Munich, if all goes well I'm at f(2005).
As in the next day you mean? Theoretically it's possible ofcourse, but I'd arrive so late that I cannot even enter Rob is Jarig before the deadline. Not to mention the 70% of the party that'll be over by that time... ;(

Madenmann: Air Berlin might be even cheaper, and flies directly from Dresden to Budapest.

Thx, I had a short look at them. Seems like the only fly at weekends, saturday morning to Budapest, Sunday afternoon back. And above 200 Euros. Well, it's faster, but it's more expensive as well. :/

Btw, I still hope I can make it to Saturne, so I'm pleased to see there'll be some friends. :)

don't worry havoc, they accept email submissions, but let me know if you're going to do that, cause i was planning too :DDD

Email submission is not an option :-)

Rob is Jarig is only allowed to be entered by dutch sceners if they are present at the party.

Don't give up so early! Why don't you read the rules?

They mean that you should ask a *german* friend to enter Rob is Jarig by email :)

`Rob is Jarig` isnt supposed to be entered the correct way is it?

No dice, unfortunately:

Previously released material is not allowed.

So the Sick Dutch Fucks really still need to find someone who will accept the job offer on the first page of this thread. If it doesn't happen, the only remaining option would be a Rob is Jarig port on some platform other than PC or GBA. That would mean like, ehum, *cough* real work, a complete and utter mismatch with the laidback Dutch attitude.

Ye-Ti, well I don't care about entering it correctly, I just like the idea of wasting the crowd's time ;-)
added on the 2005-09-09 10:15:52 by havoc havoc
i think if you share enough beer with orgas they'll enter it themselves without any hint :D
added on the 2005-09-09 11:43:24 by apricot apricot
mifto: if they share beer they'll be at the party anyway, wouldnt they? :)

I'm still not sure whether I could make it, but just in case:
Are Euros accepted at the party place?
If no, were's the best place to exchange them?
At the partyplace, yes. Try not to force us to have change though.
Currency exchange is also quite possible at most of the train stations if you arrive there.

isn't that sometimes a little expensive?

some friend told me that the best way he found so far was picking up cash in the given currency on spot, from ATM machines, as it's usually the mid-price they use for exchange.
