Keops I think some hungarian amiga guys like Charlie could tell you things about that. I think I heard him speak about replacing amiga disk drives with IBM floppy drives (and I suppose it was IBM only). Or google might tell you more on the issue. :)
There's lot of DIY Pc floppy drive conversion documents in aminet.. It's mostly about adding some interface logic to convert some of the drive control signals.
