I'm never getting a job polishing crap.. but if I ever did.. I already know how it'd feel...

yes, but actually we don't know:
how much did he have for this project ? Maybe he wrote them in 30 minutes each. How much effort did he put ? How much did they pay him.. lots of questions, so while it is easy to judge and say 'the tracks were crap', maybe the truth is that he simply didn't or couldn't be bothered.

I must say that all groups did a good job remixing these tracks.

Navis: from our point of view it doesnt really matter either - we got 5 mp3s and had to do something unpleasant either way :)

I had some very funny moments with the originals when I played them to friends who came visiting me :)

Dear or dear, the compo webpage is virtually unwatchable. Fuck flash and Fuck videos.

15 minutes till they're on scene.org and the glophunting can begin :)

its really the worst case of flash usage.. try to watch a trailer and then go back to the "selection"-page...its virtually impossible to do so..

kb: send a notice to staff@scene.org, and we'll add the local download-links to the news-item on the front page of scene.org.

honestly, what is wrong with having a website with 5 images (of the 5 demos) and a link to the video/executable underneath.

It takes me about 1 second to decide if I want to watch a webpage. Those with a flash intro are always alt-F4d without further thought.

"NICE" just like they say in that south park teacher making love with ike .. you know. especially that fairlight .. god damn 123klan inspiration i see right? ;) i think this raises intel profile at least in my eyes.

seems that this http://intel.de/demoscene/ site does not even do proper flash version detection ...
really painful experience :)
wooh all demos are impressive and coherent with each grp style but the FR one is so mind-blowing =)

Seconded.

Btw, it's almost unbelievable how some ppl can actually make 40 second demo eat up so much memory that it doesn't run on a machine with 512mb of ram... Yes you know who i'm talking about ;)
