Only a very big mouth can suck an ass... but a dick is small enough to any mouth... think about it.

I started porting this demo to the DS a week ago:

No idea when (or if) it will be finished.

at the function 06; melwyn was porting a volleyball game and intestingly he was using an API [ngl?] which copied function names from OpenGL :). Btw, whatever, i wanted to say that melwyn [as i know] does something for DS.

the 3d api part of libnds looks like OpenGL yes - unfortunately not everything works exactly like GL, but it's a good start :)

(there has been some talk about changing the 3d api or atleast provide an alternative which is a bit more true to the actual hardware..)

woot, Mangoo actually released a prod? I never knew. I thought it was just an #amigascne fantasy :-) Anyway, this would be a very nice nds prd, hope you can finish it!

bstrr, what would you say is the best homebrew h/w combination for nds? there seem to be a lot of alternatives (passme, m3, x-treme, supercard, etc blah) but some seem to have trouble with homebrew...what do you think is the best for executing code?

yeah, we did a demo in 2003 .. but nothing since :)

re. homebrew.. i don't really know - i'm currently using the ds-xtreme, which is ok (but doesn't support everything homebrew'ed app out there, partly because it currently doesn't allow access to the GBAROM area .. i think :D).

the ds-x allows me to copy my .nds file to it using a usb cable (that comes with the ds-x). when the DS is then turned on it will automatically unmount itself - unfortunately it won't turn up again in windows without pulling out the cable and inserting it again - oh, and sometimes i can't run any apps on the ds-x, if the USB power is still on..

.. so I dunno, really :)

(btw, i use emulators for testing most of the stuff I do and only copy it over to the ds-x when i feel like doing that)
