Please help, Amiga Demos won't running

Hi fans,

I need your help, to get some demos working on my windows machine with the WinUAE Amiga Emulator.

After I enjoyed the great demos on the Windows, Commodore-64 & Mobile platform I want to view some great Amiga Demos, like "Starstruck", "kilfox", "Ocean Machine" & others, but WinUAE don't want to load them for me.

Either it said, the disk is not bootable, but I don't have a disk image, only the *.lha file from pouet & now I need your help, to get these demos working.

Or do I need another Emulator ... another settings to choose ... could you help me please ?

big thanX again !

First you can extract the lha files to a folder... do you have the roms? You must have the roms!
He doesn't have the roms!

And I'm not your fan!

Me no wan't running, too!
I gotta watch kilfox. Sounds like great stuff.
You should grab a complete Amiga package like AIAB or the likes.

I advice you to get the complete amiga forever package, load the a1200 config, and if you're not familiar with shell and lha you could try the lha->ram icon in the dock menu

and in the end the demos will still look quite messy on an RTG screen :/

Huh? Most demos work rather fine from RTG screens. Since most of the coders nowadays know what WaitTOF() and LoadView() do. :) Or what exactly do you mean with "messy"?

No, just the plain look on the RTG dotmatrix , it definitely looks always best on TV or PAL screens. Well, that's my usual ranting ;)
I'm always feeling b*a*d watching stuff on emulators (be it GBA or C=64 whatever)...

I just use a clean basic install of WB3/3.1 and setup a few hardfiles and run them from there

I think prolly what he wants todo is extract the files from the lha archive, so he can use WinRAR and the likes for that. Then copy the files into the directory(or however he has WinUAE setup).

Where can I get the "Amiga Forever Package"?
Try Google.
No, Google doesn't sell "Amiga forever" (would be cool, though), but it might give you a pretty good idea.
