dalezy the reason why asm and bzm split and bzm became a real party indoors was because the city of helsinki blew up the previous bzm location to make room for a freeway offramp.
the guys organizing bzm tried to get the new location for the same weekend as asm, but it was already booked for then.
I do suspect boozing to occur duing assembly as well somewhere around the arena, but not at the old location.

Not that I cannot think of better things to do to prevent me from perpetually sitting around like a dork in the oldskool area (huffing glue in some back alley with the people from jumalauta comes to mind), but I doubt we can grill in the parking lot.

no one knows where the boozing will happen during asm, but who cares? the location for boozembly is clear so everyone should just come here! :)
im sure some of the further away hills will turn out to be crowded with drunken sceners during asm, just follow the trail of police cars and firetrucks and you'll find there.

One place mentioned is alppipuisto.. a park about half a kilometer south from the pasila railway station (e.g. a kilometer from the partyplace) where there usually are hippies and dj's during the summer. iirc the pre-boozembly of asm2001 (or 2002 or 2003? can't really remember) was held there..

Or then again, people could just gather elsewhere that's not so near the Arena (like Alppipuisto). The hills have always sucked ass so i'm glad we got rid of them :D
And the new (real) bzm place was awesome.
i miss them rocks but the new location was bestest.
