Demo-wish musicians!

category: general [glöplog]
Who do you wish to listen (legally) at a party?
In concerts, or compos (demos, music...)

  • Kraftwerk
  • Mark Mothersbaugh (something like that chiptunish track at life aquatic's OST)
  • Richard D. James

If he went to a party he would get so drunk that he would go back to the 80s ;)

Yeah. In most cases it would have to be secret.

heh, it sounds so unrealistic, kraftwerk at a demoparty... but it'd be so totally rad <3

For demosoundtracks:

Fields of the Nephilim
New Order

and I'm pretty sure that some Sisters of Mercy tracks would make fucking awesome demos (like Lucretia).

For concerts:

VNV Nation (hint, hint!)

And oh yeah, kraftwerk naturally. For both categories.

Venetians Snares!!11 u-Ziq!!1111
Venetian Snares is a tracker, so he's close to the demoscene as it is!

From Wikipedia:

Quote:
Venetian Snares composes much of his music with trackers. Before he began to release his music commercially, he worked primarily with OctaMED on an Amiga 500[1]. At some point prior to 2000, he began using a PC and the Windows port of OctaMED, MED Soundstudio[3]. During 2003 and 2005 he also used Cubase in addition to MED [4]. Today he works also with Renoise.

at last altparty lackluster did a great concert!
also, i wish GYBE, limewax, and mono.
to be more realistic, some of demoscene related musicians can make demoparties a lot better for me. for example lugoober, xenophobe or ps. forgot about loaderror!

elfh said it right. the good scene musicians should do more live. that said, elfh, you'd love gwEm's performances.
