Fifteen by Dune

category: general [glöplog]
505-overdrive.mp3 is not a chiptune. I think is an ACE-tracker or Flex-tracker tune. (no YM-2149). Considering the YM-2149, the chip can sound VERY non atari I say ! It can produce som crazy sounds indeed.

and btw. Dune 15 rulez!

CrazyQ : indeed. I actually started to post a lot of tunes by 505 and finally removed some to avoid a 505-spamming on that thread. Seems like I actually removed the chiptunes but left the non-chiptune one in the end :)

505 rules anyway. So does 15.

atari: do you have any mixes online anywhere? I really loved that video of you playing live on the dhs site a while back, and need more :)

Butler, in my opinion, many of the old Amiga tracker songs that once had "good sound" has aged very very badly, while pure chipmusic is still, chip :-) Not to say I don't love tracker music though!

About 505's Overdrive: It's a Flextrax module (Falcon). That's basicly Amiga Protracker with eight channels and DSP reverb effects.

oh okay. that explains stuff. :) but still a very nice tune :)

I allso love 505s c64-tune that is used in Evil Face - Creators: http://pouet.net/prod.php?which=18537 :)

ok, I thought it could be a 4 voices module crystal clear made on a simple STf (of course it's not a chiptune) and an amazing reverb. Falcon, 8 voices + DSP, killer machine :)

Helps? It could only be improved by the inclusion of a hot blonde virgin, or a lifetime of free beer. <3

Now, I'm off to chip heaven for a few days. \o/
