What exactly would be the winning condition? The motherboard falling out or being exposed?

Jack Tramiel is jewish, he and his family was sent to Auschwitz, and trying to link any of his products to Adolf Hitler, even as a joke, is pretty ignorant imho.

mermaid, so it would be OK to link the amiga to adolf hitler? or is jay miner jewish too? btw, shiraz shivji is hindu, so swastika's are no problem i suppose?

in other words: i don't give a fuck how ignorant you think i am...

This has gone somewhat off topic.

Its about using computers as conkers, remember!

slummy, WOW!!!1 until today my secret dream was to join boozoholics, or if that failed perhaps spaceballs... thanks a million for showing me this light in the darkness!@@!@!!! I WISH I WAS MAALI SO I COULD SAY I WAS PART OF IT TOOo!!!!!1111

xeron, ok i found the perfect atari conkers platform- the Atari Transputer Workstation 800! it's scenerelated in the sense that there's a full mega st2 inside, so it runs a couple thousand demos if you hook up a RGB display. this should do pretty well, even when pitted against the 1541 :-)

Wow cool. I'd pitch an Amiga 3500T against that i think.

Hmm.. actually, i think an A2000 would stand a better chance. Its smaller than the 3500, but its built like a cast iron tank.

The concept of a 'papier-mâché tank' springs to mind for the A1200 ;-)

Erm..okay...if you wanted to compare the Atari 8-bit machine that was around when the breadbox C64 was released, the Atari would win hands down.

It's no real secret that the current machine at the time (Atari 800) would squash the C64 flat. It was a FAR heavier machine. Seven PCBs, extremely heavy shielding, cast iron... vs the breadbox. Sorry, but that breadbox would be flat as a pancake.

As for vs the 800XL or 65XE, however, I really couldn't tell you.
In such a fight you'd have to face a C= PET =)

The movers of this world use ieee interface and 8250 dual drive. Designed to give you the power to crush the puny competition.
