I guess it's EP that sold the info :P

but seriously, FLT grown out to be large, efficient and successful, Strider is probably a good manager, i'd vote for him if i had to!

..and anyway i'd vote for a member of demo-/crack- scene anytime, just for the fun of it ^^

i alsways thought that "kill a commie for your mommie" was a joke slogan, but as it seems strider meant it that way...
that kinda disturbs me... i would never give my vote for conservative/republican hardliners..

what v3nomsoup said about voting and a quote from an interview with strider (17 years)
Quote:
?: Who are your best friends and enemies in this rough world?

!!!: My best and oldest friends are RADWAR, FAC, HOTLINE and TRIAD, and I hate
people who would hesitate chopping a communist's head in front of his
family
.

Quite a statement.

In 1987, Strider and two buddies, using the names "Black Shadow" and "Gollum" founded Fairlight, devoted to "cracking" the copy protection on video games for the Commodore 64 and other early systems and redistributing them to acquaintances through electronic bulletin boards.

In California, the computer and video game industry is a $1.7 billion business, employing 40% of the industry employment nationwide. California has more than 190 video game facilities, employing over 9,000 people directly and 25,000 indirectly, including industry giants such as Sony in San Diego. In 2006, the computer and video game industry added $3.8 billion to the U.S. GDP, the Entertainment Software Association reports.

Reducing software piracy could create hundreds of thousands of new jobs, billions in information technology (IT) spending and economic growth, and new tax revenues to support local services worldwide, […]

In March, U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey met with software and entertainment industry executives in California, warning that huge profits generated from intellectual property crimes including piracy are fostering terrorism: "Criminal syndicates, and in some cases even terrorist groups, view IP crime as a lucrative business and see it as a low-risk way to fund other activities. A primary goal of our IP enforcement mission is to show these criminals that they're wrong."

So fairlight is responsable for the 9/11 attacs? Then why have they killed Saddam? That's not fair!

"several pictures of Krvaric involved with some very sickening situations" including one […] "posing with a porn star."

Now that's hard stuff. A guy around 25 is visiting an adult show and posing with an actress in that country that is the world's leading producer of pornographic material, worth several billion dollars each year. I can really understand that they're upset about him. I mean, think of Tomcat/MaWi visiting Israel and posing with a jew!

Besides all that, Strider didn't went into game producers' homes, stealing their pro tools.
OH NOES! PORN CONVENTION!!! HELP ME JEBUS

consumerism is much worse than porn.

zest, nobody forces you to buy! i always have the idea that people complaining about "consumerism" must be exceptionally weak-minded, if their only response to "buy this! it's good for you!" can be "eh, ok."

If your country changes TV system from analog to digital you are pretty much forced to buy new consumer electronics if you want to watch TV.
added on the 2008-05-07 11:30:18 by El Topo El Topo
but that's not consumerism. that's bad government. oh, and it's "haha, you watch public tv!"
added on the 2008-05-07 11:45:50 by skrebbel skrebbel
if you're anti-consumist why would you want to watch tv anyways?
added on the 2008-05-07 11:47:57 by psenough psenough
actually the ultimate paradox of our society is that consumerism through advertisement makes humanist services like google ones free and accessible to everybody (on the net).
added on the 2008-05-07 12:53:38 by Zest Zest
skrebbel: you can't say that, advertisement is everywhere, poor people feel frustrated to anger because they can't buy useless products sold by mass media : our whole society is build upon frustration and headlong rush ; not my own conception of the way of living the human life.
added on the 2008-05-07 13:00:29 by Zest Zest
Getting frustrated about nog having certain useless 'things' is pretty fucking stupid.

zest, solve that at the cause by educating those people about money-spending instead of inventing even more silly rules.
added on the 2008-05-07 13:36:15 by skrebbel skrebbel
google was already free before they started with the ad shit, in case you dont remember.
