Not just the ministry of weather playing god?

There is no ministry of weather. In fact, there has never been any ministry of weather.

The ministry of the best demo of 2008
says: "get of the fucking internet and give us competition!"

...and your first response is to post a youtube link.

Exactly what ryg said, instead of giving them competition, you spam that link in this thread, and in the scene.org awards intro page, magic, think what you are doing, please.

I just want to say that this moment was one of my most awesome moments at Breakpoint. The audience cheering was so fucking out of control it nearly made a tear appear in my eye (then again, I'm a sappy faggot, so that says nothing :))

Hey all music lovers, as one of the first of many post-party releases yet to come we have just finished making an album out of the awesome Saturday night concert by Xerxes, Romeo Knight and Bendik.

I have a question:

Is is lawful to compete in a streaming music compo with a song, lets say: "The song that was played live yesterday evening" while the general rules for all competitions say: "Compo entries may not have been released before" ?

it doesnt say "may not have been played before"
as it was played and not released.. :)

Ok, but playing it to the audience is the same like releasing it.
And, come on - you know what i´m pointing to.

i think it would be have been a bit harsh to disqualify for it that reason.. :) but i am biased in this..

thank you kb! going to listen now :)

powl I know what you are trying to say
but there is a difference between playing it or releasing it as mp3
and the BP rules dont forbid to play a song live
otherwise the rules have to be adjusted

In fact, a) a "release" at the same party is a border case anyway, b) it was not exactly released but played once while half of the audience was drunk :).

So yes, you can certainly discuss about that topic but in the end it's a matter of perspective. And ours was: "keep it" :)

OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!! and you're not allowed to hum it in your sleep before it's released either!!!!!!11
the only good video I recorded was the Rob roll prod.

well, i´m just thinking of the words scamp said. that we need newcomers and fresh blood.

in my opinion it would have been a better solution to give the chance to somebody else.

and.. it´s always about perspective. :)
