Attention deficiency in coding.

category: general [glöplog]
making demos should be fun or creative, not exhaustive. if you've lost interest in making them or coding then atleast take a break. perhaps get some air, watch some movies, think about something else, or you'll get mad. :P

i believe a serious demo has alot of work behind it, most or all of my demos usually where made without any groundwork, they where just made on the fly, so effects and 3d where just made progressly and demo so. no storyboard or anything like that. i believe that time is gone for me, atleast in some sense. i dont want to waste more time on abstract stuff unless there's a underlying design-concept behind it. its easier with a library and tool to work with, so then there may be some fast made demos with no sense at all even, but coding will take less time. my tool is not far from finished, dont think it ever will be, but i hope to use it so that its easier to work on the demo-content rather wasting time on coding routines that takes awfully alot of time. coding will always be a part of it, but tools are great for saving time.

well, this may not be right for all coders, but atm it is my way of looking at it.
