Cheap color calibration devices

category: general [glöplog]

I'm thinking about getting a cheap color calibration device but I'm not sure which one's are good. I looked at the Spyder 2 Express, Colormunki Create and the Huey (Pro) and some other stuff. The problem seems to be that many of those cheap devices have problems with glossy surfaces and LED displays. Does anyone know a cheap device which does a decent job on glossy surfaces and LED displays?

I've heard good things about Spyder before, can't remember where though, maybe here?

spyder 2 express worked great for our macs at the office...havent tried with glossy surfaces though, but I cant see why it would be a problem.
