Sounds very promising! I have a few 256c games which look wrong in Vista/7.
That is awesome. Any chance this could in some way be used to make games such as Settlers 3 or Age of Empires 2 (which have similar palette problems) work on Vista/7?

stijn: have you actually tried if this dll works? Warcraft 2 works perfectly on Win7 here with this DLL.

I've gotten mails that starcraft1 sort of works and fallout1+2 works, so there's some hope it works out of the box. I'm rather surprised it works on other games at all =)

Ok, I found that this fixed the typical 256-colour glitches in Slam Tilt, but it actually scales some graphics up so they are bigger than the actualy screen. Would you mind looking into getting this to work?
(I think it was just the intro graphics going nuts when not using your ddraw.dll, so it doesn't matter too much)
...Ok, now that I tried it again, the colours also fuck up in-game...
