tip for a minimal live windows

category: general [glöplog]

question is: if there's a way to generate a safe to use and really small bootable live of a minimal functional but still uptodate of windows?!

I've been running into trouble concerning my barely usable heatup hdd lately, so the question came up, if there's a solution to get a whatever-bootable CD or USB-device to run a in-ram working copy of a windows.

the hdd is cool now - somehow ;) but the imaginary problem is still there.

BTW. linux distros do live. but I haven't found a windows counterpart.

thx for help.

and this works? wanna lol. maybe I should try that one but this's a lil random shit.

just compared: consoles use less memory. I mean: a lil about 32 megs for a standard filesys, custom and fixed installed drivers. whatelse it needs, is some memory allocator, a graphics and sound plug and a lil input. this was the thought I had.

anything like that?

cause... I'd want more!!!... or LESS footprint. Fuck. ;D
