@KK: Always Atari (always the one I currently have the coolest idea for :-)

Well, see you at SV12, then and good luck. With some luck I should even be able to come up with a prod there. :)

maytz: that demo kicked SERIOUS ass. I must say I'm a sucker for glitch hop in the first place, but it would be meaningless without the perfectly-fitting visuals. Just awesome on the bigscreen.

@ferris. glad you liked it. hope we can bring some more even better looking stuff and with double the amount of tits perharps :-)

Maytz,we need to invent a tit-field and a tit-shapeshifter!

Looks nice. What UI library/gfx did you use for this?
added on the 2012-10-31 18:53:47 by KK KK
the tool is a commercial product ;)
KK : i've coded all the UI ( graphic & system ) in C++ & D3D

So, the UI is rendered on the GPU too? I thought I was the only one actually doing that!

msqrt: No you're not :)

u2: your tool looks excellent, btw. I've recently taken up painting on the computer and might need to try it out...

Good, I always feel like I'm doing something very wrong when not using the winapi stuff for that..

rendering UI primitives with the cpu? Software rendering is so 90ies ;)
u2: That looks so awesome! :)

thank you all ;)
yes all is rendered with the GPU and when I saw what MS is doing with their API I think I took a good decision to handle it myself. The caveats it's that's a LOT of work ;)

u2: We have all gone this way. :)

Still, it looks I have to update graphics of my UI as it looks sooo Win 95.

Function over fashion.

p01 - an attempt to graph the "excitement" of different parts, trying to remembering that a demo should have a climax ;) Interesting to do another one with the actual result - e.g. shampain arguably ended up dead flat between 00:37->1:30...
