"Whenever I'm writing a demo to his music, I have to push myself to feel that I'm giving the music the respect it deserves."

After working with four (five?) different musicians, I get the feeling that this will never go away ^^

Very interesting indeed ! It was very impressive to me because I read it *before* watching the demo. Everything seemed so simple yet the result is extremely cool !

@flure: well, what's missing from the description are the few hundred times I watched the demo through and tweaked little things here and there.

Exactly what noone realizes in general-demomaking.
Without some tool like werkkzeug you keep recompiling and watch it all thru hundreds of times just to see if one change at some point in the demo works as expected now.
Mostly its: "no, not yet"->rinse->repeat !
Its the oldskool way of making demos, same applies for 4ks, as you dont have a tool to make 4ks, making one aint worth it, as every 4k is so different!

But yeah, what flure said: its all basic-stuff, just used in a smart way, i wish there would be more of these making-of-reports!
Also this report should be pinpointed to newcomers who havent ever made an own demo, if they have the slightest clue of whats going on, they should be able to learn a lot of this!
So thanx for the making-of, i guess i´ll link ppl to there in the future ;)

The prod itself rocks! Only newyears-tAAt-prod i still like better is tAAt 2009 for its minimalism and the superb soundtrack! i keep rewatching this one like 2-3 times a year! :D
