@noby: wow, you totally got me. I couldn't recognize any of them but one, Barry Lyndon, which I haven't even seen actually. The scene you included is famous for having been shot with no other light than the candles, thanks to a custom mounted f0.7 lens.

Zavie: Yeah, those scenes are some of the most impressive technical achievements in film history, remarkable. The rest of the films from top to down are Aguirre, Koyaanisqatsi, Mystery Train, and Pierrot Le Fou. I tried to choose some films with an emphasis on visual look and cinematography.

Also what Preacher said, Koyaanisqatsi is the "demo" of films :)
