- demo Atari Falcon 030 Falcon Contribution by Cruor
- great graphics and atmosphere. ra's code is better in his later STe prods but it's still good enough to deserve a thumbs up!

- game Atari ST Atari STe Penta by Paradize [web]
- cool game! i'm happy this is playable, well presented, and not tetris or pong (or even pacman)!! great work, guys from paradize! :) and of course cheers to seb and 505 for graphics and music, respectively. ;)
i'm also happy about the stuff not being spread in a disk image. even when using steem i have no problem depacking a normal zip to the virtual hard disk. for really really lazy people, future versions of steem could perhaps open zips as disk images (conversion on-the-fly). - rulezadded on the 2005-02-16 17:38:26
- demo Atari Falcon 030 cycedelic knockout by Mugwumps
- mugwumps were ciritisized for their code, or rather, lack of it. but the result is really good. the intro screen is an amusing warming-up, the rest is frantic techno stuff.
i'd say the main techno part isn't as good as for instance grotesque, but the music makes up for it!
the end part is chill! sometimes i booted this demo only to watch that part with it's great music and trippy looped animation :)

- diskmag Atari ST Atari STe Atari Falcon 030 Alive #09 by Alive Team [web]
- this one kicks like a bassdrum :) menu graphics are by mic/dune. indeed, similar to the style of dan malone, one of the bitmap brothers' graphicians.
i like the fact that two cool chip editors are released along side this issue and that the contents are really diverse. there's the different styles of cih, moondog and cyclone. indeed this issue provides a nice view into the atari scene for any variety of scener.
good job guys!
adok: try 2+ megs of ram. that worked for me.
ghandy: steem runs it pretty well

- demo Atari Falcon 030 Bundestag by Spice Boys [web]
- the sparkling of the chars is nice, for the rest it isn't.

- demo Atari Falcon 030 Motion (unfinished) by Aggression
- it's just loose bits and bobs. but still, very good stuff for its day. it wouldn't have been a lost blubb/eko system beater, though.

- demo Atari Falcon 030 Joint Venture by Absence
- some nice effects, but uncoherent as a whole. music is pretty cool for mid nineties rave stuff.
the nicest stuff is TSCC's shaded wormhole effect and the part-where-you-think-your-machine-crashes-but-actually-the -demo-is-boothing ;)
it left me with an empty feeling of watching remnants of the once so great falcon scene (which turned out to be just the first wave, but that's another story).
trivia: the water screen was planned to be in Lazer's cancelled demo.

- demo Atari Falcon 030 Binliner (preview) by Avena [web]
- tat is the best!! it's not even a complete demo, but these screens were amazing for their time. stylish, balanced, psychedelic even. nobody could touch avena!
