- cdc #1: Turtles All The Way Down by Subdream
- 64k Windows Rong by Tolle
- Better than expected, the timing of some parts could be improved, and some jokes are probably lost for non-party-visitors (mandatory tunnel!), but overall a nice joke-tro.

- Nice atmosphere and music. The industrial tunnels have been done before, true, but they fit in the story, and story-demos often seems to have an edge at compos. So, congrats on the 1st place!

- Would probably have done better in the compo if not for the constant harsh flashing. Thumb-up for the lovely sub-surface scattering.

- Great choice of viewpoints and direction. It's interesting to see compare this with realtime mandelboxes to see what we can do realtime now (iteration glow, low-zoom flyby) and what not (huge distances, shadowing, deep zooms).

- jack-3D: do you have the latest catalyst drivers? The GLSL spec has become more flexible regarding float/int conversion, which allows for smaller shaders. But older drivers will balk and refuse to compile some of them. If you still have the problem after updating, can you tell me which Gfx card you have?

- Please note that the Assembly soundsystem absolutely butchered the music, you couldn't hear anything except the bass. Several other entries also suffered from this, but ours the most (at least, thats how it felt to me...)

- demo Windows Odds And Ends by Fulcrum [web]
- I fixed a really stupid shader bug, can someone with an ATI card download it again and tell if it looks similar as in the live footage posted by m0d?

- Hrm, yes, to learn to use shaders. You got to start somewhere, and if I can support a local party with my attempts, that's a plus. The demo is called Odds And Ends for a reason :)

- Since 2 of the 3 kaleidoskope parts reuse the shaders of the bal, there's probably some ATI-limit I exceed with my shader. I won't have time this weekend, but next week I might be able to try and fix it, at least if there's someone with an ATI-card willing to try test-versions.
Gargaj: I'll see if I can fix that with SDL, I almost always run them fullscreen so windowed hasn't gotten much attention. Thanks for the remark. - isokadded on the 2009-07-03 13:54:06
