- Noby: Can you tell me which parts were different on ATI? I haven't been able to test it on ATI, my last non-Nvidia card was a 9800 which has only shaders 2.0 and if I understand it correctly, GLSL shaders with jumps and loops need 3.0 shaders.
Can other people confirm or deny if it displays similar on ATI as on the live footage, and if not on which card model? The timing and some transitions are changed in the final version, but the effects and order are the same. Thanks in advance. - isokadded on the 2009-07-03 10:41:46
- invitation Windows Rewired 2009 Invitation by Rewired Orgas [web]
- This is a 100% partycoded production, we weren't sure if we would manage to finish it (and thanks to the BP orgos for letting us stretch the deadline a bit). Its aim is indeed simply to inform people about the party, so don't expect any fancy effects...

- demo Windows A Minor Impact on Productivity by Fulcrum [web]
- Yes, several parts are definitely too long but I ran out of time and couldn't make everything that I wanted... But I really had to release it at Buenzli, as the next party I'll visit will probably TUM and it makes no sense to release a babytro half a year after the birth :)
I hope to add at least one extra scene in the final version, plus various small fixes to the existing ones. - isokadded on the 2008-08-18 08:59:06
- demo Windows Heliosphere by Fulcrum [web]
- Hello guys, first thanks for the feedback. It's our first demo and it's nice to hear what people like and what not.
Remember that this is the party version that doesn't quite look how I wanted it to be. Especially, I wanted to use more but smaller points to make the fractals look sharper and more self-similar, now they look a bit blurry. I hope to get at least a factor 2 improvement with point sprites, but that also means the final version will be for OpenGL 2.0 only:/
About the colors, it's impossible to use darker tints since the nature of fractals means that many transparant particles will overlap. So whatever color you use, the result will look very bright, so I only had a limited range of colors to chose from. I tried to have some variation but maybe a more limited colorscheme would have been better... I'm afraid it's a coder-designed demo...
I was surprised with the second place, I was expecting 4th or maybe 3rd. People at the partyplace I talked to liked the originality, and who am I to discuss their taste :) - isokadded on the 2006-08-20 21:28:26
