• well yeah its a one trick pony in some way but it's just very well executed. i wouldnt mind seeing demos done like this either (they could use nicer music though -- not that puryx' track isnt nice, but you know, not that '4k synth sound')
  
  maybe getting away from that particular sound is a good next step for the 4k forefront ppl. though i suppose it's hard as even 64ks havent really managed to do so as of yet.

• people should stop bashing dx10 only. i mean it's tough enough whipping up something and we'll be all transitioning that way slowly anyway. and that aside, doing a proper dx9 impl includes a lot of trivial crap code thats just not worth the time if you dont have it clobbering up some of your hd space already.
