- demo Windows MacOSX Intel the hullabaloo partycoding experience by A Moiré Misszió Bemutatja
- mog: you had too much beer, and you saw that. :)
Exciting music, but the same can't be said for the relatively simple and short visuals. - isokadded on the 2013-12-01 22:38:52
- demo Windows MacOSX Intel Mrs. Pavlov here tells me that she is a polytoxicowomane by A Moiré Misszió Bemutatja
- The polys-in-quadrants with background changes didn't really hypnotize and was shown too many times, but the start and the fullscreen kaleidos near the end were really good.
I guess you need to "destroy" the poly renders in some more effective way to "sell them" the way the other groups do. :)
I recognize the knots from some downloadable generator I fiddled with years ago, but perhaps you were the authors of that too? Nice to see them in a demo, anyway.
Music was nice and hilarious :) for some reason reminded me of that demo with the snails+violins, remind me someone... - rulezadded on the 2013-12-01 21:31:15
- demo Windows Spacecut by Carillon & Cyberiad [web]
- I'd love to watch this, but it won't start on my PC. Is there a cap where the syncs sync? (If they do on a real PC, that is.) Cos the two on Youtube don't.

- 4k Windows Prosopagnosia by BlockoS [web]
- Still needs more dlls to run. Test your demo on a "clean" Windows install to detect unnecessary dependencies.

- demo Atari ST Second Reality 2013 by Checkpoint [web]
- What tomaes, Stingray, and Jcl said. Ported down clones rarely excite, but the grating sound punishes my ears to distraction.
Could I persuade CPT to not port effects because that means they have been done before? Unless you want to do only what has been done before, of course. - isokadded on the 2013-12-01 19:02:07
- 64k Amiga OCS/ECS Retrobution by Pacific
- What Slash said... and hoping to see (and hear!) more from you guys!

- demo Windows RedShift by TLM
- Just a quick question if the AO is supposed to look grainy and the skybox extremely compressed? It looks like 16bpp color mode, same for the non native resolutions also.

- demo Windows Apocalypse When by Fairlight [web]
- Were I glib, I'd say "Umm so everyone is thumbing from the Youtube cap? Direct to video indeed ;)" but I don't KNOW that do I...
Also no reason to assume the .txt is incorrect, so I'll just wait with voting until I have the gfx card that can run it. - isokadded on the 2013-10-09 20:46:09
- dentro Amiga AGA Panurus Biarmicus by Planet Jazz
- It's funny because the day after the compo I googled for bearded tits. It was all very innocent, it was just to see if the technical claim of a first was true.
But lo and behold, even with Safe Search on, Google return pictures of full frontal nudity bird pictures with some strange Latin family name.
Needless to say, I was shocked and disgusted! I emptied my pink high street soap dispenser to rinse the sight from my eyes.
With all that dirty spam in search results, it's hard to judge if it's a first. But they're equal, as they should be, and well drawn even if they make me feel unsure of myself, and that's why you get a thumb big enough for hitch-hiking to Uranus! - rulezadded on the 2013-10-01 23:06:09
- demo Windows Glenz vector from Hell by Razor 1911 [web]
- Don't fret rez, it's just me noticing the (non-)trend that pops up n times every year. People falling in love with oldskool... and yes, producing oldskool prods on modern platforms. It wasn't about the tech or your retro love, but the strange retro love in general.
People want CRT filters for emulators, because they absolutely cannot fit a CRT in their 3x3m apartment...?
It just seems they want to jump through hoops and run for miles, do anything they can, as long as they can at any length avoid having to use the computer they obviously have a lot of love for. Just because I do and work towards proper old computer usage doesn't put me on some pedestal, just trying to understand where the fascination really lies.
"If we're not careful, we could all be watching retro remakes on PC in codec-destroyed Youtube format one of these days and love it." /sarcasm.
The basic message is (as always with my negative comments): Come to Amiga! Make great demos! - isokadded on the 2013-09-28 00:45:58
