- Final version is now available! Mostly technical fixes, and some visual things as well.
Changelog:
- Reduce startup time significantly (we measured up to 88% !)
- Add music pre-render dialog option for slower CPU's (makes above point moot if used :) )
- Improve performance for some scenes
- Fix strange banding artifacts beyond fog distance
- Minor visual/camera/post tweaks

- Btw, noticed this on the bigscreen and again watching at home. It seems on some scene transitions, there's a small lag before the next scene begins. Looks to me like typical shader compile lag/state baking the first time you draw a new scene, or like rendertargets aren't initialized until a scene's first frame or something. Perhaps you need to prerender a frame of each scene offscreen during loading?

- dunno how I missed commenting on this, but I absolutely love it. The style/mood is totally there, and similarly to darkness, the way all of the visuals were built up from simple components felt very clever, and it all comes together in a really nice way. One of the few 8k's that are actually starting to define the genre beyond "4k audiovis but a bit more space/polish". :)
