- demo Amiga OCS/ECS genesis by Lloret Free Byte [web]
- seems to be mostly bitmap animations that could have been done in code to reduce the number of disks... I do like the dolphins, though, worth a disk just for that :)

- It didn't work on the amiga compo machine, so that's that point settled :P I should be releasing the Final version with the required fixes later this evening, just waiting on some more 060 testing.
It would be cool if next time there were enough entries for 16bit platforms to warrant a separate compo. - isokadded on the 2013-04-10 17:51:36

@AzzaroMWI: A good/valid point to make, which I discussed at length with people at the party. It was for this reason I didn't think it would win, but people thought I'd tweaked the existing effects enough and added a whole lot more, so it wasn't seen as a quicky tart up (which it was quite far from in terms of the development). To be clear, if it hadn't changed as much as it had it would not have been allowed to enter the compo at all, something I thought might happen after having to cut a couple of effects in the last week due to time/disk space constraints.
One thing is for sure, we won't get away with doing it again, not that I have any desire to anyway - this was simply a 'getting used to the amiga again' project, targeting a known base then working up from that. Only problem is I've now set the standard and the next release will have to better it with something that both looks and feels completely different or I'll be accused of being a one trick pony - bad for my free time allowance, but good news for the viewers.
At least you didn't thumb me down for it, so thanks for that :) - isokadded on the 2013-04-03 18:09:16
