This is very excellent background music. The interface sucks, though. A music disk is not a demo, and the main loop should [b]not[\b] eat 100% CPU time. Some well-placed Sleep() commands do wonders. Either that, or use GetMessage() like any other well-behaved Windows program.
There are sleep functions where they belong, and GetMessage() requires the use of separate thread for any kind of animations as it doesn't return until a message have been posted to our application, it've tried to use a timer and an own made thread but without suckcess, the bottleneck is the opengl swapbuffers(), use the minimize button and it won't "eat 100% of the CPU time" anymore.

- Quite unwise to use shrinker (a commercial pe packer) as it's not very compatible (files packed with it don't work here and only display an error message).
Use deshrink v1.6 to depack such kind of files (almost all class intros).

The intro itself isn't too bad but it's very big.

gf2 you say... i've no way to test it under such card but as i don't use any special gl extensions (since the lodbias thingy is now patched) i don't think it's the real problem.
Now that i think about it, the exe won't work with processors not supporting SIMD, in fact i don't think it can run with a processor below a p3, this may be the problem (or something like that).
I'm using xp sp1 with 256mb of mem too so apart from an issue with the processor i can't think about anything else.
