• So like 15 years back I hung out with Malfunction and he told me he still has the Scream sources and I told him that it no longer works, so he sent them over and I tried to get it running and I sucked and failed, but on the back of the SR port I dug it out and dusted it off and here you go now you can watch it on real hardware again:

• It's very strange to see a "my first OpenGL1.1 tutorial"-style demo running in HD made in Unity.

• Strange one, it has that ASD-esque high-concept idea with the progressive music and foley and one uninterrupted shot, which almost feels like a James Bond intro sequence, but doesn't really have the visual fidelity to pull it off and look and sound coherent. (I wonder if it wouldn't have worked better if it would've gone with a more "traditional animation" feel, no shading, just solid colors, silhouettes, maybe a bit of edge wiggle + 12fps, that sort of style...? I dunno.)
  
  I respect it because it clearly aimed high (and Lord knows we need more of that), but it just doesn't feel like it has its own audiovisual personality.
