Others invest an ass full of work with far less "respects" and this here has 21 thumps up. This is far to much for my taste and it seems, "do it yourself" is no longer valued !
Ye i read the comments of NR4, Venom, uncle-x and darya and i can only agree. The only fair way to deal with that is to split Demoscene Competitions whilst, as i said before, limit the amount of allowed KI entries. I also would give no prices for KI releases.
The other way is to disban completely KI crafted "Slop" and suggest the creators, to held an own demoparty or better spoken, an AI Festival.
I´m not sure how to deal with this properly but i simple feel, that THIS Art doesen´t really belong to us without sorting it out or "put" it into a special place. Maybe "Pouet" creates an AI Logo and a special Filter so this stuff is not shown in regular Lists of human crafted Art. Not really happy with AI but that is no solution. At the end, we need a place for such stuff, seperated from regular handmade human content. But, no real idea. Maybe Demoscene Orgas can connect to each others and have an idea, what can be done to keep human work valued, to seperate KI Stuff without ending in struggle and fights.
Best would be to simple disallow any of that everywhere but i think that wont work global. How can we deal with that ? - isokadded on the 2026-10-19 09:09:40
