- demo Windows Spaceflowers (that mess with our genes like DNA) by Excess [web] & Progress [web] & kvasigen [web]
- okay, first of all... this demo has been reported to run nice at ~500 mhz. There might be some bugs making it run slow on some computers, not that I can think of any good reasons, except that I didnt spend a lot of time optimizing the polyfillers, and some of the scenes also contain a lot of hidden faces (the motionblur-room, ie).
Second of all, I run the radialblur twice to get a smoother look, and since both passes are subpixelaccurate, it requres a lot of memory-access. (but, hey, most people have >500 mhz, and decent RAM (my laptop has ram slow as hell, and that was the machine it was coded at)) This demo was also a real hurry-job.
kb: this demo i a HELL lot faster than sleepless (at least at both my machines), and it even contains MORE than just a 3dengine, so shut it.
My next software-demo will proabebly run at a higher resolution, though. - isokadded on the 2002-10-17 17:21:49
